ALPINE TRAIL
Alpine Trail is an approximately half mile long steep single track located just below Panoramic Highway and between Van Wyck Meadow and Pantoll Station. Read more in JMT5.

ARTURO TRAIL
Arturo Trail is a steep single track between Northside Trail’s end at Rifle Camp and East Ridgecrest Boulevard, just below West Peak. Read more in JMT17.

BLITHEDALE RIDGE FIRE ROAD
Blithedale Ridge Fire Road travels from the end of Hoo-Koo-e-Koo Fire Road through Mill Valley. Read more in JMT9.

CANOPY VIEW TRAIL
Canopy View Trail connects Panoramic Highway and Muir Woods. Read more in JMT11.

CORTE MADERA RIDGE FIRE ROAD
Corte Madera Ridge Fire Road branches off from Blithedale Ridge Fire Road towards Corte Madera. Read more in JMT14.

CROSS COUNTRY BOYS TRAIL
Cross Country Boys Trail is a steep single track located on the North side of the mountain between Lower Northside Trail and High Marsh Trail. Read more in JMT17.

CYPRESS TRAIL
Cypress Trail is a steep single track between Edgewood Avenue and its intersection with Tenderfoot Trail. Read more in JMT6.

DEER PARK FIRE ROAD
Deer Park Fire Road runs from Muir Beach to Cardiac Hill, following the Dipsea Trail for much of the way. Read more in JMT12.

DIPSEA TRAIL
The Dipsea Trail is home to the famous Dipsea Race, an approximately 7 mile hilly course between Mill Valley and Stinson Beach. Read more in JMT12.

EASTER LILY TRAIL
Easter Lily Trail is a “shortcut” between Tamalpa Trail and Hoo-Koo-e-Koo Fire Road. Read more in JMT10.

EASY GRADE TRAIL
Easy Grade Trail is a steep, 0.6 mile single track traveling between Bootjack Campground and the Mountain Theater. Read more in JMT4.

ELDRIDGE GRADE FIRE ROAD
Eldridge Grade Fire Road is a long, gradual climb from Indian Fire Road to East Ridgecrest Boulevard. Read more in JMT10.

FERN CREEK TRAIL
Fern Creek Trail runs between East Ridgecrest Boulevard and Railroad Grade, and another portion of it also runs through Muir Woods. Read more in JMT10 and JMT11.

GRAVITY CAR ROAD
This fire road stretches for approximately a mile at a gentle incline, connecting the Mountain Home Inn on Panoramic Highway to Double Bowknot on Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT3.

H LINE FIRE ROAD
H Line Fire Road connects the Southern Marin Line Fire Road to Blithedale Ridge and Old Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT14.

HIGH MARSH TRAIL
High Marsh Trail is a single track located on the North side of the mountain. Read more in JMT17.

HOGSBACK
Hogsback is a steep, approximately half mile long connector trail between Mountain Home Inn and Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT8.

HOO-KOO-E-KOO FIRE ROAD / TRAIL
Hoo-Koo-e-Koo has sections of both fire road and single track stretching all the way from Crown Road to Hogsback. Read more in JMT16 (and most other runs).

HUCKLEBERRY TRAIL
Huckleberry Trail is a steep single track connecting Corte Madera Ridge and the Sunrise Lane end of the Southern Marin Line Fire Road. Read more in JMT14.

INDIAN FIRE ROAD
Indian Fire Road connects Hoo-Koo-e-Koo Fire Road, Blithedale Ridge and Eldridge Grade. Read more in JMT10.

LAUREL DELL FIRE ROAD
Laurel Dell is a rolling fire road near the Mountain Theater and West Peak. Read more in JMT17.

LOST TRAIL
Lost Trail connects Panoramic Highway and Muir Woods. Read more in JMT11.

MATT DAVIS TRAIL
Matt Davis Trail is Mill Valley’s premier single track, traveling approximately 6 miles from Hogsback to Stinson Beach. Read more in JMT4 and JMT18.

MILLER TRAIL
Miller Trail is a steep single track between East Ridgecrest Boulevard and two points on Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT17.

MUSIC STAND TRAIL
Music Stand Trail is a steep single track located on the North side of the mountain between High Marsh Trail and Laurel Dell Fire Road. Read more in JMT17.

MYRTLE FIRE ROAD / ASCENT
This short, half mile fire road lies just below Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT1.

NORA TRAIL
Nora Trail is an alternative option for West Point Inn runs and general Railroad Grade access from Matt Davis. Read more in JMT8.

NORTHSIDE TRAIL
Northside is a relatively flat single track high up on the North side of the mountain. Read more in JMT17.

OLD RAILROAD GRADE
The historic fire road stretches from the end of West Blithedale to Fern Canyon, traveling approximately 1.7 miles at a 6% grade. Read more in JMT2.

OLD STAGECOACH FIRE ROAD
Old Stagecoach Fire Road is an approximately 1.8 mile long fire road with a gradual incline between Pantoll Station and the West Point Inn on Railroad Grade. Read more in JMT5.

RAILROAD GRADE
The historic fire road stretches from the end of Fern Canyon to East Ridgecrest Boulevard, traveling approximately 4 miles at a 6% grade. Read more in JMT3.

ROCK SPRINGS LAGUNITAS ROAD
Rock Springs Lagunitas Road is a rolling fire road near the Mountain Theater and West Peak. Read more in JMT17.

ROCK SPRINGS TRAIL
Rock Springs Trail is a generally flat, rocky single track traveling between the Mountain Theater and the West Point Inn on Railroad Grade. It is approximately 1.4 miles. Read more in JMT4.

SOUTHERN MARIN LINE FIRE ROAD
The Southern Marin Line Fire Road, affectionately known as Crown Road, is an approximately 2.7 mile fire road on the Corte Madera side of the mountain. Read more in JMT14 and JMT15.

SUN TRAIL
The Sun Trail is a relatively flat trail above Muir Woods that passes through a tourist club. Read more in JMT6.

TAMALPA TRAIL
Tamalpa Trail, an approximately 1.6 mile very steep single track, is the most direct route from Fern Canyon to East Peak. Read more in JMT7.

TAVERN PUMP TRAIL
Tavern Pump Trail is a steep single track between Railroad Grade and its intersection with Fern Creek Trail. Read more in JMT13.

TENDERFOOT TRAIL
The aptly named Tenderfoot Trail is a steep, 1 mile singletrack traveling between Edgewood Avenue off of Panoramic Highway and Cascade Drive in Mill Valley. Read more in JMT3.

TROOP 80 TRAIL
Troop 80 Trail is an approximately 1.4 mile single track located just below Panoramic Highway and between Alice Eastwood Road and Van Wyck Meadow. Read more in JMT5.

VERNA DUNSHEE TRAIL / PLANK TRAIL
The Verna Dunshee Trail surrounds East Peak, which is accessed via the Plank Trail. Read more in JMT7.

VIC HAUN TRAIL
Vic Haun is steep single track connecting Railroad Grade’s intersection with Hoo-Koo-e-Koo Fire Road to the Sitting Bull Monument on the Tamalpa Trail. It is approximately 0.5 miles long. Read more in JMT3.5

WHEELER
Wheeler is a very steep, approximately half mile single track connecting Hoo-Koo-e-Koo Fire Road and Eldridge Grade Fire Road. Read more in JMT17.

WIDOWMAKER
Widowmaker is an extremely steep trail connecting Indian Fire Road and Verna Dunshee Trail. Read more in JMT13.

ZIGZAG TRAIL
Zigzag Trail is a very steep, approximately half mile single track between Gravity Car Road on Panoramic Highway and the end of Cascade Drive in Mill Valley. Read more in JMT3.5.
